How does Eggcellent work?

Paste a YouTube cooking video URL, and Eggcellent reads the video captions to extract ingredients, measurements, and step-by-step instructions. Our AI organizes everything into a clean, printable recipe format you can save to your cookbook.

Which video platforms are supported?

Currently, Eggcellent supports YouTube videos only. We're working on adding support for more platforms in the future!

What are the usage limits?

Basic (free): 3 extractions/month, Plus ($2.99/mo or $20/year): 30 extractions/month, Ultimate ($5.99/mo or $30/year): Unlimited extractions. Cached recipes (already extracted by other users) do not count toward your limit!

How long does extraction take?

Most recipes are extracted in 10-30 seconds. Longer videos may take up to a minute. If you see a cached recipe (already extracted by another user), it is instant!

Can I edit extracted recipes?

Yes! Every recipe can be edited. Click on any recipe in your cookbook, then click the edit button. You can modify ingredients, steps, servings, cook times, and more.

Can I export my recipes?

Yes! You can export any recipe to PDF or Markdown format. Just open the recipe and click the export button.
